Installed a Rebuilt Steering Box, New Steering Shaft and Lower Steering Column Bearing.  Found the idle speed set way too high and the choke not working as well as the distributer hold down clamp installed upside down and not holding the distributor in time.  Also gave the Jeep a quick wash.  May 2015

I removed the non-functional old AMC Fuel and spark controller and wiring, then made a few repairs and adjustments and got the Jeep running clean and smooth.  I found there were no brake lights, turn signals, horn, or even ability to change between Hi and Lo Beams on the headlights.  Neither did the Wipers or heater/defroster fan.  The only gauges that worked were the Oil and Speedometer as they were mechanical and not electrical..  So I installed a new Painless Wiring Jeep CJ Harness and now everything works, including the 4WD and Parking Brake lights.  I also installed a set of exterior mirrors, so now the Jeep is not only trail ready, but street ready as well.  July 2015
